Psalm 81

I am working on a commentary on the Psalms. I have decided to compile some helpful links that I discovered during my research. It includes a mix of exegetical and sermonic links. Here is what I have for Psalm 81 (in no particular order). Feel free to mention any that you find helpful in the comments section.

Israel and the Land Promise in the NT

Gerald McDermott has a good post here on how the land promise made to Abraham and hos descendants are treated in the New Testament.

New 1–2 Kings Photo Resource

BiblePlaces has released the latest volume in their "Photo Companion to the Bible" series. This resource contains 7,400 photos related to 1–2 Kings. I am currently in Israel and working my fourth season on an archaeological dig and have visited numerous sites and taken thousands of photos myself. But when it comes to teaching and preaching, I turn again and again to these "Photo Companion" volumes.

BiblePlaces is offering free PowerPoint downloads for 1 Kings 9 and 2 Kings 8 to give you some idea of what is being offered. If you decide to purchase the complete volumes, there is a sale this week, 1 Kings can be had for $69, 2 Kings is also available for $69, or you can purchase both for $79.
