Did Jacob and Esau Reconcile?

George Savran has a very interesting discussion here addressing whether Jacob and Esau truly reconciled (Gen 33). The biblical data aside, the answer might also depend on one's definition of reconciliation and whether there are degrees of reconciliation or it is all or nothing.

Early Christian Scriptural Production

Michael Kruger confronts Michael Satlow's claim that, "The copies of early Christian manuscripts from around the second century CE were utilitarian. They were generally on papyrus rather than the more expensive and durable parchment. They lack the signs both of being written by a professional scribe and of being intended for public recitation (255)."
