Thomas Constable

Today I attended a retirement reception for Dr. Thomas Constable, Senior Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary. This servant of the Lord is stepping down after forty-five years of ministry at the seminary. I count it a privilege to have had the opportunity to serve Dr. Constable as a grader and a graduate teaching assistant. But more importantly, it has been my honor to count him as a dear brother and friend.

Dr. Constable plans to focus his energies on writing and his growing online ministry (go here). If you have never used his notes, you are missing a great free resource.

One of the godliest, most humble professors I had the pleasure to know. I took every class I could get with him.

I saw his last chapel speech some days ago and I'm so glad that this will be no retirement from writing. I'm very thankful that his notes are available as a modul for the Biblesoftware The Word.
