Tel Shiloh Scarab

During the last two summers I have participated in a dig at Tel Shiloh. This past summer, a scarab was found in the square that I was supervising. We were pretty excited then and now it has made an appearance in a recent television program. Here is a screenshot from the program. In the program it is described as one of the earliest scarabs found in Israel but caution is in order until a more thorough study and publication takes place.
