The Categories of "Important" and "Unimportant"

J. David Stark has a good reminder here that we need to think beyond the basic categories of "important" and "unimportant" in doing what we do. This is one reason I prefer to think in terms of primary, secondary, tertiary, etc.

Happy Thanksgiving!

While the holiday of Thanksgiving tends to be an American institution, the practice of giving thanks should be universal. This year has been personally trying in a number of ways, but I am blessed in ways beyond counting and on my best days, counted among the thankful. I am hoping that today is one of those days.

Being Mindful

I don't think all of these suggestions are ones that I might use, but I do think that this post on being a mindful teacher might be worth looking over.
